Jason Wight

Jason Wight is a PhD student and graduate research assistant for the Agronomic Crop Variety Testing Program in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Tennessee. He is a native of Louisiana and holds two degrees from Louisiana State University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management Systems from the Department of Agronomy and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Toxicology from the Department of Environmental Studies. Jason began his doctoral studies in Plant Sciences at the University of Tennessee in 2003,and expects to complete degree requirements in December 2006. His research involves soil carbon sequestration as affected by conservation tillage, cropping sequence, and biocover.
